The School Box a new feature also known as the Homework Hotline, where students’ assignments are recorded daily for the parents to call and hear. The School Box has proven not only to be innovative, but helpful as well.

All the time parents call, wanting to pick up their children's homework. With The School Box parents can find out the homework for the day by calling the homework hotline at. Parents think it's wonderful because they can check it at work. They can check home at night, later on after dinner or whatever, when there's not anyone available."

Each day, Mr. Jones and Mrs. Braxton record all the assignments on the middle school‘s School Box, which are listed by grade and teacher. From there, each specific daily assignment can be heard -- something the teachers and the students find convenient. This is what parents hear when they call:
